- Say 'mayday, mayday, mayday' and state your vessel name and location, then repeat three times.
- If possible please provide details of the emergency.
- Keep calling until you get a response and follow any instructions.

Delivery Options for patients/customers:
1) SKELTON DRAPERY – PAPAROA — 2008 Paparoa Valley Road, Ph: 09 431 7306
We have a Licensed Medicine Depot at Skelton’s Drapery in Paparoa, which opens Mon–Fri (8.30am to 5pm) and Saturday (9am–noon).
Medicines are double bagged and confidentiality assured. Any charges can be paid at the time of collection at Skelton’s.
Delivery time: Next day, depending upon availability of stock (Ring & check with Pharmacy)
Charges: FREE DELIVERY—Only Med charges to pay.
Order Medication/Repeats/OTC meds etc from Pharmacy and tell us if you want to collect from Paparoa. Orders placed before 4pm, can be collected the next day.
2) RURAL DELIVERY OPTION
- Area covered: Any deliveries to Matakohe, Paparoa, Tinopai, Pahi can be organised using Rural Delivery (RD1) delivery option
- Delivery time: Usually delivered next day into your Mailbox or can be dropped off at PO Box in Paparoa
- Charges: $2 delivery charge applies on top of medication charge (if any). Ring Pharmacy to arrange charges to be paid via Internet Banking as drivers don’t accept any cash

- Food Bank – operates on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9am - 4pm. Phone to enquire about a food parcel on 09 431 9080
- Social Work – Practical intervention to identify needs, goals and network with relevant services as appropriate. Our social worker is mobile, utilises a bicultural approach to her work and loves to engage with our community across the Kaipara region
- Financial Mentor – Phone us at 431 9080 or call into the Community House and book an appointment for financial mentoring.
- Senior Social Services – We provide an advocacy service when it is needed. On the first Wednesday of every month we serve morning tea and a two-course lunch for seniors at the St John Hall. There is usually entertainment after morning tea and transport is available if required. On the third Wednesday we have 'chocolate bingo' in the Anglican Church Hall which is another popular fun event
- Family Support – This service is for families who are facing challenges around family relationships and other areas, journeying with them as they reach their potential again
- Counselling Services – We offer a professional counselling service with trained counsellors focusing on abuse and trauma (both current and historical), family issues, including counselling children, relationships and domestic violence.
- Parenting – We run a one-on-one in-home parenting programme designed to show you how you can encourage the behaviour that is important in your family.
- Te Uri o Hau Charitable Trust – To provide the means for distributing funds to Te Uri o Hau through marae, whanau and suitable programmes for social, cultural benefit to whanau
- Education Grants – TUOH Charitable Trust distributes grants to registered hapu members and marae each year.
- Family Start Dargaville – call 0800 832 944, 5466 State Highway 1, Awakino, Dargaville. Hours Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5pm. Family Start is a home visiting programme that focusses on improving children’s growth and health, learning and relationships, family circumstance, environment and safety.
- Whanau Ora Kaiarahi Kaiwaka – Centre 10 Kaiwaka-Mangawhai Road, Kaiwaka or call/send a text to one of our friendly team members. Whanau Ora provides free in-home support service to whanau to achieve their aspirations in life. It places whanau at the centre of decision-making and support them to build a more prosperous future. Our Kaiarahi assists whanau to identify their strengths and develop long-term plans with achievable goals. Kaiarahi will advocate and connect whanau to other support services that whanau require to achieve their aspirations. Kaiarahi will support whanau to become independent, encourage confidence and self-awareness.
